Handoff
For the team picking up Setpoint. A short, plain summary of where things stand and the few things worth knowing on day one. No jargon — just what was done and what's left.
The AI already knows the project
We wrote two documents that live in the repo — CLAUDE.md and the mental
model (MENTAL-MODEL.md). Together they tell the AI coding assistant the whole
picture: how the system is put together and what the main goal is. So when you use it
to build a new feature or fix an existing one, it already understands the architecture
and stays pointed the right way instead of guessing. Read those two first — your
assistant reads them automatically.
OpenRally is deployed
OpenRally — the piece that lets other apps book into Setpoint — is deployed and running in our organization. You can see and manage it here:

Programs, Events & Matches — started, not finished
We built the initial parts of Programs, Events and Matches. The rest is mapped out and ready to continue. Here is exactly where each piece stands:
| Piece | State |
|---|---|
| The plan itself (summary + full) | ✅ written + merged to main (deployed to the docs site) |
| Admin revival + payment reconciliation (hold → pay → confirm) | 🟡 built + tested locally, in PR #726 — open, ready for review (not yet merged) |
| OpenRally session discovery endpoint (read side) | 🟡 built + curl-tested locally, in PR #727 — open, ready for review (stacked on #726) |
| OpenRally publish/push to TPS (the write side) | ⏳ not started |
| TPS consumer side (render + join + pay) | ⏳ not started |
| Event typology · Lessons → Coaching rename | ⏳ planned |

That's it
Start with CLAUDE.md and the mental model, remember that OpenRally is
the bridge to the apps, and pick up Programs / Events / Matches from the table
above. Everything else is linked from the docs home.
